Spiders and Bats Mini-Unit

Spider and bats are not exactly the cutest animal around, but my kiddos sure do love learning about them. I made a new Spiders and Bats Mini-Unit to incorporate into my curriculum this year. I also tried my hand at making crafts for the first time and they actually turned out pretty cute. Click on the pictures below to check out my new mini-unit.

Math Journal Monday, Apple Word Problems

This week's math journal problems revolve around one of my favorite thematic units, apples. I just adore teaching from early fall until Christmas. There are so many fun thematic units that you can incorporate into your instruction. Wednesday is Johnny Appleseed's birthday so we're going to spend all week learning about apples. These apple math journal problems are from my new fall unit. Click on the pictures below to check it out.

It's *Almost* Fall Y'all

The weather here in Austin, Texas is so amazing, y'all! We're finally starting to have days where the temperatures don't reach 100 degrees. This great weather has put me in a fall mood so I've spent the better part of this weekend working on a fall unit. I had so much fun making it! There is much adorable fall clip art out there. I just couldn't stop making activities! Click on the picture below to check out my new fall unit.

I also created an apple sorting activity that didn't make it into the unit. Click on the picture below to download it for free.

The first two people who comment on this blog will receive the fall unit for free. Please include your email address in your comment.
