Back to School and Word Walls

I've been away from this little blog for so long. I promise to make it up to you with lots of new products, classroom pictures and freebies in the next few days. My kids started back to school on Tuesday and we've had a great week so far. I'm back in first grade with the same class that I had for kindergarten. Looping is so fantastic! We picked up right where we left off.

I had so much fun with the owl theme last year, but I decided to change it up a little for first grade. Here's a little preview of our classroom:

 

I wanted more room for words on my word wall so I made small and simpler letters. I separated each section with ribbon. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
